<p>Jumat malam, 16 Maret 2012 di Ballroom Hotel Intercontinental lalu, kembali <a href="http://swanetwork.com" target="_blank">SWANETWORK</a> menggelar malam penghargaan Juara Social Media atau Indonesia Most Popular Brand in Social Media. Ini adalah ajang penghargaan bagi merek-merek dan personality Indonesia paling populer di media sosial. Penghargaan yang telah diberikan keduakalinya tersebut merupakan hasil kolaborasi Majalah <a title="SWA Media Inc." href="http://twitter.com/SWAMediaInc" target="_blank">SWA</a>, OMG, <a title="SITTI Indonesia" href="http://twitter.com/SittiID" target="_blank">SITTI</a> dan <a title="ISOBAR" href="http://twitter.com/Isobar" target="_blank">ISOBAR</a>.</p>
<p>Most Influential Personality diperoleh dari hasil riset atau sensus digital Indonesia Most Favourable Brands and Personality in Social Media. Seluruh nama merek dan personality yang muncul, diperoleh melalui mesin yang diberi nama Sistem Iklan Teknologi Teks Indonesia (SITTI). SITTI menangkap ratusan juta halaman situs dalam bahasa Indonesia, juta-an akun Twitter dan komunikasinya, serta mereka sekitar puluhan juta akun Facebook. Dari hasil tangkapan itu, kemudian dilakukan pemeringkatan merek di tiap kategori produk berdasarkan banyaknya merek itu di-mention di social media.</p>
<p>Riset selanjutnya ialah menentukan atribut yang muncul manakala membicarakan kategori tersebut. Atribut yang dicatat tidak hanya yang bersifat positif, tetapi juga yang bersifat negatif. Tapi, dalam survei ini atribut negatif tidak diperhitungkan dalam pemeringkatan.</p>
<p>Secara garis besar SITTI mengukur seberapa besar sebaran dan relevansi dari berbagai kategori merek dan personality yang ada di seluruh bidang pembicaraan dalam bahasa Indonesia di media sosial. Dengan menggunakaan crawling engine dan algoritma kontekstualitas dari SITTI, didapat hasil akhir yang merupakan <em>qualifid volume measure </em>&#8211; disebut SITTI index &#8212; dari merek-merek dan personality tersebut. Metodologi perhitungan dan analisisnya menggabungkan perhitungan statistic deskriptif dan social network analysis.</p>

<p>Untuk merek, ada 40 kategori produk dan lebih dari 100 merek yang ditelusuri rekam jejaknya di dunia maya. Ke-40 kategori itu datang dari beragam industri, mulai dari makanan-minuman, elektronik, oli, sepatu, perbankan sampai otomotif. Dan hasilnya, muncullah nama-nama mereka ternama dari beragam kategori itu, yang liputan lengkapnya tersaji pada dalam <a title="Survei Media Sosial 2012: INDONESIA MOST FAVORABLE BRANDS &amp; MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONALITY (SWA EDISI 06/2012)" href="http://swa.co.id/edition/survei-media-sosial-2012-indonesia-most-favorable-brands-most-influential-personality-swa-edisi-062012" target="_blank">Majalah SWA, Edisi 06/2012 (15-28 Maret 2012)</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;Jaringan kami mencakup ribuan situs dan blog berbahasa Indonesia. Ini merupakan amunisi baru dalam menjalankan strategi pemasaran dan pengembangan merek. Melalui SITTI, setidaknya pemasar dan pemilik merek dapat mengethui berapa kuatnya keterkaitan yang ditimbulkan oleh media sosial&#8221;, kata Andy Sjarif dari SITTI.</p>
<p>Selain merek produk yang popular, hasil survei ini juga mencatat sejumlah orang yang berpengaruh di ranah media sosial, terutama Twitter. Mereka itu berpengaruh di bidang tertentu yang mampu menggerakkan pengikutnya (follower) yang jumlahnya tak sedikit untuk men-tweet.</p>
<p>Dalam survei ini, pemeringkatan diukur dari dua aspek, yakni: sebaran pengaruhnya dan relevansi topik yang mereka bicarakan dengan follower-nya. Umumnya, topik yang dibicarakan/didiskusikan terkait dengan profesinya. Contohnya, Farrah Quinn (dengan nama akun twitter: @quinnfarah) menjadi sosok yang berpengaruh di media sosial di bidang makanan. Lalu Desta di bidang olahraga, Ari Lasso di bidang musik, Bondan Winarno di bidang travel, dan Deddy Corbuzier di bidang gadget.</p>
<p>Kemal E. Gani, Pemimpin Redaksi Majalah SWA mengungkap bahwa yang kedua kali ini sangat penting bagi dunia bisnis. Sebab, penggunaan media sosial kian strategis untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai alat promosi serta marketing tools. &#8220;Ke depannya, akan semakin banyak perusahaan yang memanfaatkan media sosial ini dengan cerdik untuk promosi sehingga dapat memperoleh hasil yang optimal.</p>
